The Final Verdict
It wasn’t an easy decision mainly because many of the pros and cons are the same for each. The Dyson DC44 Animal and the Dyson DC59 Animal are both compact and easy to use. We loved how it fit into places other vacuums didn’t and the various tools meant we could clean the entire house. On the downside, it would have been nice to have a longer battery life. Also, as these vacuums are both in the higher price range, it would be nice if Dyson lowered the price on replacement parts. With that in mind, we chose the Dyson DC44 Animal because you will probably be able to save yourself around $100 for a vacuum that works just as well.
