The Final Verdict
We loved how both the HP Officejet Pro 8720 and the HP Officejet Pro 8740 were easy to set up with all of our devices and the wireless connection was good. If you have Alexa, they will work with this too.
The HP Instant Ink program seemed to work better with the HP Officejet Pro 8720, and it was handier being a little bit smaller but apart from this, the design and use were the same for both.
We decided that the winner today is the HP Officejet 8740. It was more expensive, but we appreciated the speed of this printer. The single-pass auto document feeder is impressive. We also liked having the additional paper tray and found this to be more practical, especially for office use.
