The WD Easystore and the WD My Passport are incredibly easy to use and even if you do have to format the drives, the instructions are simple to follow. We felt like the range of storage capacities was enough for most people’s use. The sizes are also great for portability. The transfer speeds were also impressive.

Unless you really need 5TB, we felt the WD My Passport is the better series of external hard drives. The colors are good fun, but the security is the most important. Regardless of what you are storing on your hard drive, you need to know that it is safe. Finally, when comparing the price of the 1TB hard drives, the WD Passport is only a little more expensive, but for peace of mind, definitely worth it.
