Arctis 7

SteelSeries Arctis 7

Pros:

  • Great sounds with everything we used them for
  • Lovely materials that feel like good quality
  • The wireless range is strong

Cons:

  • This set isn’t as comfortable

Arctis Pro

Pros:

  • Zero-latency makes it ideal for gaming
  • Easy to use with a wide range of devices
  • There are lots of options to customize this headset apart from the RGB

Cons:

  • It would be nice to have a chat mix on the earcup

The Final Verdict

We have a clear winner today. The Arctis Pro came out on top on paper and after using it. There were a couple of things that we were expecting to be better. We liked the idea of the Prism RBG Illumination. It doesn’t sound like a huge deal but if all of your other equipment has it, you will want to sync your effects.

Both the Arctis 7 and the Arctis Pro were excellent for sound quality and both showed zero latency. That being said, the Arctics Pro was more comfortable and for just a few dollars more at the moment, it was well worth paying a little more.
