The Final Verdict
Overall, we felt the size, weight, and design of the Sony SRS X55 and the Sony SRS x5 were perfect. It’s true that they are slightly larger than other Bluetooth speakers on the market but then again, they also have better sound quality, so we felt this was worth it. The USB port for charging other devices was handy although many felt it would be more beneficial to have a micro-USB.
We felt that the winner today was the Sony SRS X55. It was a little bit more expensive but most definitely worth it. The sound quality was impressive and more than what we were expecting in this price range and noticeably better than the Sony SRS X5. NFC was another bonus as was the long battery life. This was a great buy for a lot of different occasions, whether you’re having a party or just want to chill listening to your music.
