The Final Verdict
With regards to the appearance and design, we loved the Pioneer SP-FS52 and the Polk Audio T50. They sat nicely with our home entertainment systems and were definitely not intrusive. Looking only at the specifications, we preferred the Polk Audio T50, the drivers are larger, the frequency range is larger, and the longer warranty is appealing.
That being said, today’s overall winner is the Pioneer SP-FS52. This is because the overall sound was superior, particularly when it came to the bass. We felt that the Polk Audio T50 lacked that extra punch. In this case, the extra money was worth it for the Pioneer SP-FS52
