The Final Verdict
Overall, the coffee machines are expensive, and the Miele customer support has a lot of room for improvement. We say this because it really is worth looking into the extended warranty. Miele makes machines designed to last but it is still a heft investment for a coffee machine and the extra peace of mind will help.
It was a difficult decision between the Miele CM6150 and the Miele CM6350. Their design and size are the same and we think that for their capacity, they are nice and compact. The quality of the coffee and the range of coffees you can make are exceptional, and at the end of the day, this is what you want. The automatic cleaning can is useful, but the function is a little bit random.
In the end, we decided that the CM6150 was the better machine. It’s true that it doesn’t have the hot water feature but it’s unlikely that you will get a coffee machine to replace your kettle. The cup warmer is also a nice touch but we didn’t think these features were enough to justify the additional cost.
