When looking at the quality of the materials, we were impressed with the Intex Mariner 3 and the Intex Mariner 4. They are strong, sturdy and feel like they are made to last. We were also impressed with everything that comes with the two boats, although the carry bag is not great.

The winner today is the Intex Mariner 4. It doesn’t cost a great deal more, but the additional space is definitely worth it. Plus, you have the extra Boston valves. You really can have a lot of fun with this boat and still feel safe at the same time.
